Mark 6- Nathan Guy 12/04/2011

Nathan Guy spoke today challenging us with the question “Who provides your bread?” He then led us through Mark 6 focusing on four stories that remind us we should be depending on God to provide our bread. Unfortunately, our culture is one of self sufficiency to the point that we don't look to God until all our efforts fail. Jesus wants to understand where “the bread” come from and that if we cry out, God will come near to us and meet our needs.

Grace- Taylor Ross 10/02/11

Grace is all about God being the lover of our souls. It is all about how God loves us and desires to restore us and how we need to turn to him and not other lovers. He wants us to believe and allow him to pour his spirit of grace on us.

The Heart that Believes and Receives- Carl Medley 09/25/11

God has promised to pour his love into our hearts and to place his Holy Spirit in our hearts. Let the Lord renew your heart. Don't give in to worry, envy, jealously, anger, bitterness, depression, etc. It will rob your heart of joy and peace.

The Heart that Believes and Receives- Carl Medley 09/18/11

The hard heart doesn't hear God's voice and lacks spiritual perception. We need to be open to the Holy Spirit's leading as we open our eyes to see and consider the finished work of Jesus on the cross.

It is good news that we can set aside doubt and shame and focus on what God is doing and not what we are doing. It is not about us. It is all about him. With a clear conscience comes a good feeling. To keep it, we must continue to look to Jesus, keep on believing in him and repent quickly.
